Oloom Academy Instructor Terms

Welcome to Oloom Academy! By becoming an instructor on the Oloom Academy platform, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions ("Instructor Terms"). These Instructor Terms are an integral part of our Terms of Use and govern your relationship with Oloom Academy. Any capitalized terms not defined herein are as defined in the Terms of Use.
1. Instructor Obligations
As an instructor on Oloom Academy, you are responsible for all content you post, including lectures, quizzes, assignments, and other instructional materials ("Submitted Content"). By agreeing to these terms, you represent and warrant that:
You will provide and maintain accurate account information.
You own or possess the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and authority to authorize Oloom Academy to use your Submitted Content.
Your Submitted Content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
You have the required qualifications, credentials, and expertise to provide the services you offer through Oloom Academy.
You agree not to:
Post inappropriate, offensive, or misleading content.
Engage in activities that violate Oloom Academy's policies or legal terms.
Use Oloom Academy for purposes other than providing instructional services to students.
2. License to Oloom Academy
By uploading your Submitted Content, you grant Oloom Academy the rights detailed in the Terms of Use to offer, market, and exploit your content. This includes the right to modify Submitted Content for accessibility and sublicense these rights to third parties.
3. Trust & Safety
3.1 Trust & Safety Policies
Instructors agree to abide by Oloom Academy's Trust & Safety policies and other quality standards. Oloom Academy reserves the right to remove content, suspend payouts, or ban instructors for policy violations.
3.2 Co-Instructors and Teaching Assistants
Instructors may add co-instructors or teaching assistants, following Oloom Academy's Co-Instructor Relationship Rules and Guidelines.
3.3 Relationship to Other Users
Instructors acknowledge their indirect relationship with students and agree to use student data only for providing services on Oloom Academy.
4. Pricing
4.1 Price Setting
Instructors set base prices for their content, with optional participation in Promotional Programs. Oloom Academy may convert prices based on foreign currency or mobile app platforms.
4.2 Transaction Taxes
Oloom Academy may collect and remit Transaction Taxes for applicable sales.
4.3 Promotional Programs
Instructors can participate in optional Promotional Programs according to Oloom Academy's Promotions Policy.
5. Payments
5.1 Revenue Share
Instructors receive a specified revenue share from sales, subject to applicable deductions.
5.2 Instructor Coupons and Course Referral Links
Instructors may use coupons and referral links, subject to limits and restrictions outlined in Trust & Safety policies.
5.3 Receiving Payments
Instructors must have a valid payment account and provide necessary information for timely payments. Oloom Academy may withhold taxes as required by law.
5.4 Refunds
Instructors won't receive revenue for transactions refunded under the Terms of Use.
6. Trademarks
Instructors may use Oloom Academy's trademarks as authorized, subject to guidelines outlined by Oloom Academy.
7. Deleting Your Account
Instructions for deleting instructor accounts are available on the Oloom Academy website in settings.
8. Miscellaneous Legal Terms
8.1 Updating These Terms
Oloom Academy reserves the right to update these Instructor Terms, with changes becoming effective upon posting.
8.2 Translations
In case of conflicts, the English version of these terms prevails.
8.3 Relationship Between Us
No joint venture, partnership, or agency relationship exists between instructors and Oloom Academy.
